with your hungry hands tucked
between my forest.

shifting, stirring and
spooning out the orb
of all conquests.

rattle your fidget fingers
against this caged heart
and handle with care,

slide yourself within
these collarbones and
press hard against
these trembling lips.

organic, watch the
waves lap against us.

whistling, the wind blew
through our eyelashes and
coloured the gaze we

bled upon the bloated sky.

howling, the lightening
cracked over our fingers like
a whipping from zeus and

basked in the masked light
of a false horizon.

screaming for mercy and
picking at the greying flecks
of skin at the corners of
our eyes and cuticles;

bring us redemption when
you come in the morning,
love. bring us redemption
when you can,

there is no such thing as

endless quivers of eyelashes
pervaded by scenes of
broken glass and
fragile glances

halted and sweltering
under climate change.

(melting as we dance
next to the sun, dying
as we breathe in the
moons glare and breaking)

countlessly breaking and
bending until lovers
are just strangers staring
at the end of forever;

time is a man made construction.

there is a strength,

how now, the tears
fall from the stars and
the captured become

doused in bravery.

(where are the cowards,
with tongues of silver
lagging over crooked
stones and guarded

there is a weakness,

there are broken bones
and graphite stuttering
over fingertips. concave,

ribs crumble in the dirt
of our victors;

there is a strength.



we stand, running on pure
bliss that our hearts don’t
bleed and beat like empty

drums (i followed my shadow
into the darkness,

i followed you, coward
to where you took
my soul)

buried under the sand,
buried under the concrete,
tears are cracking the
fissures and locking

elbows into violent
submission. feeling the
powder and the bruises
of you ripping this skeleton

with bare hands( with
swollen tongues.
